Check Chromebook Battery Status
An item to check the battery degradation of Chromebooks has been added to the Device Management function. The state of battery degradation varies depending on various factors such as charging method, usage status, and duration. This new feature visualizes the battery status, which can be used as information when planning battery replacements. It also allows for the selection of devices for reuse or recycling, considering not only their external appearance but also their battery condition.

Visualize Chromebook Network Communication Status
Users can check in detail the transmission and reception bit-rates and the Wi-Fi quality of the wireless LAN, which are important indicators for understanding network performance. It is possible to check the average values for each time period, such as “average value for the last 10 days from 8:00 to 15:00,” “average value for the last 10 days,” “today’s average value,” or “yesterday’s average value.” This helps improve network assessment by understanding daily changes in network performance, such as investigating the cause of network speed degradation during specific time periods or considering measures to improve the network environment.

Prevent Malicious Use of Long-Neglected Google Classrooms
Users can now search for Google Classrooms within your organization that appear to have been unused for a long time, based on conditions such as the class creation date and the posting dates of announcements and assignments. Furthermore, for classes without an administrator, it is possible to check if they are being used only by children. This helps prevent inappropriate use for non-learning purposes and trolling with malicious posts, leading to safer operation of Google Classroom.

Reduce the burden of account management
Streamline graduation processing with a bulk “Deactivate” feature
A bulk account “suspend” feature has been added. By searching using custom attribute information automatically added by Inter CLASS® Console Support (such as phonetic reading, class, or enrollment year), it is possible to suspend the accounts of graduated students all at once. This significantly reduces the workload for administrators and enables efficient account management.

Compatible with version 4.0 and later
Easily organize classes at the end of the school year!
Bulk Archive feature for Google Classroom
We now support bulk archiving of classes, a feature not available in the standard Google Classroom functions. This frees teachers from the tedious task of archiving classes one by one, allowing them to archive multiple classes at once, which significantly reduces their workload and supports more efficient class management.

Compatible with version 4.0 and later
Strengthen Inter-Product Collaboration to Realize More Efficient Operation Management
By strengthening the collaboration between our products, Inter CLASS® Advance, which extends Google Classroom’s functionality, and InterCLASS® Filtering Service for web filtering can now be linked to synchronize account, organizational unit, and class information. This facilitates smooth information sharing between systems, contributing to a reduced operational load for administrators and the establishment of a more efficient management structure.

Compatible with version 3.6 and later
Streamline CSV Data Registration with Faster Batch Processing
We have enabled high-speed processing for certain items related to data registration and deletion using CSV files, which previously took a long time with batch processing within InterCLASS® Console Support. Bulk deletion of users and Google Classrooms has been improved approximately five-fold, and bulk registration of user/device information by about 40 times*1. This reduces the burden on boards of education and staff, further contributing to work style improvements.

Manage and Output Standard CSV for Digital Textbooks
For digital textbook and material platforms, the data order differs for each platform, requiring the creation of CSV files tailored to each format. Using this product makes it possible to create CSVs in a format suitable for each platform’s account registration, leading to significant work style improvements by simplifying tasks such as annual processing.

*This version can manage and output formats compatible with Lentrance and Manaviewer. Other platforms will be supported sequentially in the future.

Support for MAC Address List Display
The MAC address (a unique hardware number) is used for situations like connecting to and registering on the school LAN. The standard functions of Google Workspace for Education did not allow for a list display of MAC addresses in device management, requiring them to be exported as a CSV file. After the version update, MAC addresses can also be displayed in a list, and it is now possible to output these to a CSV file.

- Prevent Spoofing with QR Code Login
- To prevent spoofing logins due to password leaks for Chromebook™ or Google Workspace for Education and to protect student devices from unauthorized use, each student is issued a QR code with an on/off function. This reduces the risk of password leaks. In emergencies, the use of the QR code can be easily turned off.

- Prevention of Unauthorized Google Classroom Use
- Classes created on Google Classroom can only be managed by the teacher account that created them. To prevent malicious use in classes that are no longer used or have been created illicitly, school administrators can centrally manage and delete unnecessary classes. This helps to prevent and quickly discover problems arising from the use of cloud devices.
